The draft deal, which is subject to change, \u201ccalls upon Parties to accelerate the phasing-out of coal and subsidies for fossil fuels,\u201d although it offers no hard deadlines.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2026Mohamed Adow, director of the Kenya-based PowerShift Africa, added \u201cIt\u2019s fossil fuels that cause climate change. Explicitly mentioning it gets on the path to addressing it.
