Power Shift Africa is a new climate and energy think tank established to provide policy, advocacy, and communications from an African perspective to educate, and inform within Africa and amplify the African moral voice into the international climate and energy arenas.
PSA’s mission is to mobilize climate action in Africa and amplify African voices championing climate justice through presenting a united, well-evidenced message to governments, other stakeholders and the media. Our mission is to support a shift in energy and climate policies towards zero-carbon, resilient and equitable alternatives through effective advocacy and enhanced media and public communications efforts.
Headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, PSA was founded in 2018 to drive public debate on climate and energy and amplify African climate voices. PSA does so through networking with African CSOs, experts and the media to increase Africa’s engagement on climate and energy issues locally, regionally, and internationally.
Power Shift Africa (PSA) seeks to recruit experienced and dynamic women and men to support our work in mobilizing climate action in Africa.
The positions are Nairobi, Kenya based, and applicants will need to be in possession of, or be eligible to receive a Kenyan Work Permit. The salary is pegged to the Kenyan National NGO pay scale.
